Program Aide Training

Today we had the training for the Program Aide award pin. This was step 2 of the Program Aide, which involved a council-designed leadership training. It included topics such as learning to work with children, gaining a deeper understanding of special areas like science, art, and the outdoors.

We also discussed adapting activities for girls with disabilities, how to run a group, how to run activities, how to run a meeting, and different ways of dealing with problems as they occur and preventing them from happening in the first place.
